Course ID:  hemoimmuno
Course Name:  Hematology & Immunology
Description:  A thorough survey of the blood and its practical import in clinical practice. There is no shortage of irrational ideas of the supposed properties of human blood. It is widely known blood-letting was once a common treatment for disease. Some anglo-saxons wore "bethrothal rings" on the left hand - the leech finger - because 'it has a vein which leads directly to the heart.' This course is the bridge by which all students of medicine should study, that between the science of blood, hematology, and hematosophy - traditional bloody wisdom.
